Having gone through the journey of finding my own life’s purpose, I already know that when we are operating in our gifts, it makes the world a better place. I had an even deeper epiphany of this as I thought about my own coaching business and how I got started.
While I am an expert at the craft of coaching, I didn’t know what I didn’t know when I got started in the actual business part of it (and I am still learning!); further more when I started to see what I needed to know, I really did not want to do it – it just wasn’t my strength or my passion – but is still needed to get done.
After hitting my head on the wall a few times, I finally understood that I had to connect with someone who KNEW what I didn’t know.
We aren’t designed to do it all on our own.
I had to find someone that not only had the expertise but I felt drawn to people where I could visibly see how much they loved the work they did.
Once I found each of those people, it was like a pressure was released and a weight was lifted. I was able to really focus on what I LOVE to do and I could now do it even better!
I can’t imagine really enjoying anything more that I do coaching and teaching and I can say this with total confidence because I know I am working in my purpose.
